European Maritime Pilots' Association Conference 2026

The 60th EMPA General Meeting brings together Europe’s maritime pilotage community for two days of insight, discussion, and collaboration in Ghent, Belgium (14–15 April 2026).

Under the theme “Navigating the past, steering the future,” the event will explore the evolving role of pilots in shaping a safe, efficient, and future-ready maritime sector.

Kicking off with a welcome reception, the programme combines high-level general sessions, networking opportunities, and dedicated discussions—culminating in a closed session for deeper strategic exchange.
