The World Maritime University visits our HQ
It’s becoming a great tradition to welcome students from the WMU to our London office during the IMO Sub-Committee on Human Element, Training and Watchkeeping (HTW).
This year’s discussion focused on professionalism, competence and the importance of maintaining high standards in a rapidly evolving maritime sector. We shared updates on our publications, courses and global membership network and explored how evidence-based research is shaping safer, human-centred operations.
We also highlighted our ongoing collaborative research with LRF on how technology transforms the maritime industry and how this transformation impacts seafarers and maritime professionals around the world (STEER Project).
We are wishing them all the best with their studies and their professional development, as we recognise that they will become the future leasers of our industry.
