SUT Aberdeen Evening Meeting
Silent Vulnerabilities: Protecting Critical Underwater Infrastructure in an Era of Growing Threats
The Society for Underwater Technology (SUT) will host a timely and insightful seminar on contemporary threats to undersea infrastructure on 18 November in Aberdeen;
Critical underwater infrastructure – subsea cables, pipelines, and energy networks – face growing threats from sabotage, cyberattacks, accidents, and natural hazards. Damage can disrupt communications, energy supplies, economies, national security, and daily life worldwide.
Join SUT for an evening meeting as leading practitioners from military and business operations backgrounds share insights on the threats to our underwater infrastructure and mitigation responses. The session will open with speaker presentations providing strategic and operational overviews supported by case studies, which will then be followed by an open-floor panel discussion.
For full and further details, and to register, please follow the link to the SUT event page here.
Ticket prices: £15 SUT members / £25 non-members / £8.33 students (all prices exclude VAT).
