Our Volunteer Expert Delegate Scheme invites members with specialist knowledge to contribute directly with their expertise to the development of international maritime regulations.

Working alongside our full-time delegation and the IMO Committee, expert delegates support The Nautical Institute’s formal positions at the IMO, bringing vital seagoing experience and technical insight at the heart of the regulatory body.
