Voyage of the Tall Ship 'Europa'

The Southern Africa Branch of The Nautical Institute is delighted to host its next seminar on 14 August.

Capt Nick Sloane FNI will share his remarkable experience as helmsman on board the tall ship Europa. 

Not content with masterminding the salvage of the ship in Cape Town, hear how Nick proceeded to join Europa in Noumea (New Caledonia) for the ultimate test of seamanship and endurance as he navigated 6,500 NM across the south Pacific, around Cape Horn and into Port Stanley over a gruelling 53-day voyage.
