Demystifying AI in Maritime Summit

The Nautical Institute is proud to support the Demystifying AI in Maritime Summit, taking place on 6 October 2026 in London. This cross-industry event brings together digital and AI experts from maritime, tech, road, rail, aviation, commercial law, healthcare and finance to explore the real-world impact of AI and digitalisation at sea. 

 

Captain Ann Pletschke, will represent The Nautical Institute at the Summit, speaking about the Seafarer Technology Engagement, Empowerment and Resilience (STEER) project launched by The Nautical Institute in partnership with Lloyd's Register Foundation - exploring how new technology and evolving working practices affect seafarers' wellbeing, fatigue and stress at sea.
