Sea Views Podcast: Green Fuels in Shipping and the Future of Seafarer Training & Safety
As part of The Nautical Institute’s ongoing cooperation with The Seafarers’ Charity, we are proud to support The Seafarers’ latest project to enhance maritime safety awareness.
To kick off the start of Maritime Safety Week, The Seafarers’ Charity have announced they are funding five episodes of the new maritime safety podcast “Sea Views”. Sea Views is a new podcast talking about the big issues in maritime and featuring interviews with thought provoking guests on how to bring about change which will make working at sea a safer and better environment. The Nautical Institute’s Head of Safety & Environment, Jeff Parfitt sat down with Sea Views to discuss the impact of green fuels and the challenges of keeping seafarer training and safety up to date amidst rapid changes.
