AGM 2023 Round Up
Last week the Nautical Institute’s Annual General Meeting (AGM) kicked off on the MS Bleichen in Hamburg, Germany. The first day began with Capt Rajiv Kapoor AFNI, Germany Branch Chair, welcoming attendees to the conference and AGM. Followed by an address from Capt.
André LeGoubin MNM MA FNI, President of The Nautical Institute. A keynote address was then delivered by Capt Simon Rosenkranz AFNI, Chief Harbour Master, Hamburg Port Authority.
Session 1 : Digitalisation and how the process of digitalisation can help support and enhance maritime performance.
Session 2 : Discussing maritime security. The session looked at ways security can be enhanced and recent trends in maritime issues.
Session 3: Developing leaders- investigating the career development opportunities available to seafarers and future leaders.
