From Policy to Practice: Powering Maritime Excellence

The Pakistan Branch of The Nautical Institute is delighted to host its annual conference on 30 September, marking World Maritime Day and its 2026 theme 'From Policy to Practice: Powering Maritime Excellence'.

Taking the form of three main sessions (Inaugural, Technical and Closing), the Technical session will focus on topics including:

  • From Policy to Practice: Converting maritime strategies into measurable operational outcomes
  • Beyond Compliance: Turning maritime regulations into a culture of excellence
  • Human Element in Maritime Excellence: Aligning training, competency and real-world demands
  • From Frameworks to Functionality: Making maritime governance work on the ground
  • Innovation and Execution: Leveraging digitalisation to deliver maritime policy objectives
  • Sustainability in Motion: Transforming environmental commitments into operational realities

The programme will also include high tea, lunch and dinner for all esteemed guests and participants.

Federal Ministers, Consuls-General, naval personnel, senior government officials and other eminent maritime professionals from Pakistan and abroad will be in attendance.
