- Port State, Flag State and IMO regulation on alternative fuels
- Strategic decision-making in an evolving regulatory environment
On completion of the course, participants will:
- Understand the range of alternative fuels available to shipping, and the impact upon mariners and ports.
- Appreciate key regulatory and compliance challenges, within the context of reducing GHGs, IMO regulations and well-to-wake measures.
- Understand the risks and importance of training for an evolving safety management system.
- Be better equipped to contribute to informed management decisions for inspections and regulatory compliance.
