National Maritime College of Ireland (NMCI) Seafarers’ Conference 2026 (Free event)

The National Maritime College of Ireland (NMCI) will host its fifth annual Seafarers’ Conference on 19 March 2026 in Ringaskiddy, Co. Cork, bringing together government, industry, education and maritime stakeholders. This year’s conference will explore the theme “Charting a Digital Ocean Economy – Enabled by Skills, Data and Technology,” with panel sessions on AI and the future of seafaring, data as the ocean’s new currency, evolving skills needs, and defining success for a digital maritime sector. The event will provide a key platform to discuss how technology, data and people will shape the future of Ireland’s ocean economy.
