For its 19th edition, ACI’s Maritime HR & Crew Management Summit, taking place on October 15–16 in London, will continue to take the lead on how the maritime industry is responding to the evolving needs of seafarers in a modern shipping environment.
The summit will delve into key areas vital for the future of maritime HR and crew management. Attendees can expect discussions on “Future-Proofing the Maritime Workforce,” covering upskilling for new fuels, digital operations, autonomous systems, and leadership development. A significant focus will also be on “Wellbeing, Mental Health & Resilience,” addressing strategies for managing fatigue, supporting mental health, and improving workplace culture.
New for 2025 are dedicated sessions on “Seafarer Payments & Sanctions Compliance,” exploring the complexities of cross-border payroll, sanctions screening, and fraud prevention. The conference will also feature increased high-level representation from the cruise sector, broadening the content and audience appeal , and an enhanced focus on simulator-based and remote training to reflect the industry’s shift towards automation.
