Nautical Affiliates

Partner with us to support safety

By becoming a Nautical Affiliate partner of The Nautical Institute your organisation will be making an important and highly visible commitment to improving safety within the maritime industry. That's because the £500 we receive every year from each of our Nautical Affiliate partners is used exclusively to fund our Mariners' Alerting and Reporting Scheme (MARS) - a key safety initiative that provides the entire maritime industry with a free, searchable online database of confidential reports of accidents and near misses.

Organisations keen to develop even stronger ties with The Nautical Institute can opt to become either a Sapphire Affiliate or Emerald Affiliate partner, both of which offer a superb range of additional benefits. Please contact the Institute's Chief Executive Officer, Captain John Lloyd RD MBA FNI, at sec@nautinst.org for further details or view the Affiliate Partnership Scheme brochure

The benefits for your organisation...

  • Public acknowledgement through the Institute's website and in selected issues of our members' magazine Seaways of your support for MARS - a key and high profile maritime industry safety initiative

  • Your own personal printed copy of Seaways, keeping you informed of the latest developments and thinking within the maritime industry - plus copies of our other periodicals such as The Navigator magazine

  • Freedom to use a specially commissioned Nautical Affiliate logo on your organisation's publicity material, both online and offline

Thank you to our Nautical Affiliate partners
