Welcome to the US Gulf Branch of The Nautical Institute!
With an historic basis in Houston, the Branch is currently focussed on expanding its geographic and sectoral representation into other parts of Texas, Louisiana, Mississippi and Alabama - focussing not just on offshore and tanker operations, but also naval and inland waterways interests.
With a new Chair for 2026, the Branch is examining its strenghts and opportunities for the future and hopes to further increase the scope and regularity of its activities into 2027. It will continue to engage cdets through its student chapter at Texas A&M, and to work with other active local communities including IMarEST, MTS, Stella Maris and others.
