Welcome to the France Branch of The Nautical Institute!
Launched in September 2025, the branch is welcoming members from France and Monaco.
We aim to host technical and social events, both online and in-person meetings, seminars and coferences to accommodate the broad geographical spread of members from Le Havre to Marseille.

The France Branch is not a training centre, and certainly not a DP training centre. The Nautical Institute developed the "DP scheme" and manages the certification of Dynamic Positioning Operators (DPOs), but it does not itself operate any DP training centres.
The Nautical Institute provides on its dedicated website a list of approved centres.
