The new SOLAS requirements for vehicle decks on ro-ro vessels to be subdivided will not make much impact whilst vessels are still seen to be sailing around with vehicle deck doors open. This picture (see published report) was taken in harbour but the vessel is not alongside or apparently close to her berth.
