IHO Catalogue on ECDIS

I would like to make the following suggestion:

The obligation to maintain an updated IHO catalog installed on the ECDIS, It means, all charts boundaries, allowing the marine to cross check the chart installed against the required charts for the Passage Plan. It will facilitate the first step of the route planning.

 

This is very very important because suddenly new charts may be issued or replaced. 

 

The complete IHO catalog should came weeklly in CD Update Media.
