Small Screen; Missing Symbology

Amount of information crowded into the small screen & Prohibited anchorage symbology for boundary missing crossed anchor symbols

One complaint from the majority of watchkeepers is the amount of information crowded into the small screen. A good example of this is the display of the NE Spit pilot boarding / landing area (Fig 1 below) which is a screen shot of the "standard" recommended scale.

More worrying is that when I zoomed in on the range I noticed that the prohibited anchorage boundary was missing the crossed anchor symbols along the magenta pecked lines that are present on the paper chart. The only indication that this is a prohibited anchorage is that the (again almost invisible) anchor symbol to provide the pick report has a cross through it. The fact that established symbology has apparently been abandoned in this instance should be of great concern to all!
