The Singapore Branch of The Nautical Institute is hosting its annual conference on 21 August on the theme of 'Charting a greener world: Dealing with sustainability, emergency preparedness, and seafarer wellbeing'.

Coinciding with Singapore Safety@Sea Week, join us for an engaging discussion on crucial maritime topics, where we will address crew risks associated with renewable energy and autonomous shipping, evaluate our readiness for green emergencies, and explore challenges with alternative fuels, EV shipments, hazardous cargoes, and liability concerns.

Additionally, we will delve into current issues impacting seafarers, including involuntary crew contract extensions, treatment during incidents, seafarers' rights and welfare, and the importance of ensuring a diverse and skilled future workforce.
