UK/North West England & North Wales

Welcome to the North West England & North Wales Branch of The Nautical Institute!

As one of the largest branches - and the oldest - the NW England & N Wales Branch is based in and around Liverpool and the Mersey, but represents members from the Solway Firth to Aberdaron.

We are well-placed and delighted to be able to offer an eclectic range of technical seminars (both hybrid and in person) throughout the year for our regional membership, and aim to create opportunities for experts and non-experts alike to come together to share views on the latest maritime developments - from emerging technologies to crew welfare and training, best practice watchkeeping to on board accidents.

We put early-career seafarers at the heart of our endeavours, and are increasingly keen to engage younger members.  So whether you are at the beginning of your career, still studying or in your cadetship please do get in touch - we would love to hear from you.

Please do keep up to date with our activities on this page - and follow us on Facebook and LinkedIn.
