Ship Visit: Empire State VII

The Ireland Branch of The Nautical Institute is delighted to host a special visit on board the State University of New York (SUNY) Maritime College's training ship, Empire State VII, during her port call to Belfast on Thursday 18 June.

This unique event offers members the opportunity to tour one of the world's most advanced maritime training ships, network with fellow maritime professionals, and hear from guest speakers from The Nautical Institute.

The programme will include:

• Guided tour of the vessel (from 1600)
• Networking reception (from 1800)
• Presentation by Capt Chris O'Flaherty AFNI (Senior Technical Advisor and Head of IMO Delegation, The Nautical Institute)
• Presentation by Capt Ann Pletschke FNI CMMar (STEER Project Manager, The Nautical Institute)
