Crisis Management & Human Behaviour

This course offers guidance as to the main factors you should be aware of in a crisis situation, and measures that should be deployed, such as how to use available resources, how to cope with stress and how to communicate effectively with passengers and crew members. 

Target audience: any person designated on muster lists with the responsibility for the safety of passengers in emergency situations on board passenger ships, including hotel staff, Masters, chief mates, second engineer officers and other senior officers.

Regulations addressed: STCW regulation V/2 paragraph 6 and Section A-V/2 paragraph 3
