| In my previous ship I did eleven vetting inspection, one flag state inspection and all annual inspections in 5 months and 6 days. The run of the ship was 2 to 7 days between ports. I would get 7 to 8 notices to mariners every month or two all in one go. I was also doing all the messaging. Finally I froze in a close quarters situation and master had to take evasive action. I have lost confidence in myself. Please bring back radio officers/ ships clerks. |
