Projects
The Nautical Institute runs many projects aimed at benefiting both the membership and the industry. In 2001, the Institute took a strategic decision to base its future plans on the basis of projects.
Major projects being run by The Nautical Institute include:

- Human Element Awareness Campaign

- AIS Implementation
- ECDIS Implementation
Many of these projects are aimed at improving issues affecting the shipping industry in general and are therefore supported by leading industry organisations through sponsorship or partnership.
